Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the CTU in Prague in Vanad

Students and teachers from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague came on an excursion to Vanad. Our specialists presented them all three methods of thermal cutting of materials, pointed at their advantages and disadvantages, and demonstrated cutting on the CNC machines.

• Vanad KOMPAKT Laser – laser technology
• Vanad PROXIMA – oxy-fuel and plasma technology
• Vanad BLUESTER – 3D bevel cutting technology

An interesting part of the excursion was a visit of the new production hall. Students had the opportunity to watch assembly of machines in various stages of production and also got detailed information about the functions of each part of the machine.

According to the participating students and teachers, the excursion in our company was a beneficial addition to the theoretical lessons.
