PRESS RELEASE

                                                                                                                              Golčův Jeníkov, 1st July 2025

Subject:               Statement regarding disinformation from Russian media

Vanad 2000 a.s., Company ID: 259 47 575, with registered office at Riegrova 824, 582 82, Golčův Jeníkov (hereinafter referred to as "Vanad 2000 a.s."), Hereby strongly refutes the false and misleading information that has recently been published in the media, which groundlessly links the company

to alleged deliveries to the Russian Federation.

Since 2022, Vanad 2000 a.s. has not delivered, either directly or through third countries, any machines to the Russian Federation and does not do so. The company is willing to provide all export documentation to the relevant authorities for inspection.

These untrue and unverified claims were initially spread by the Russian website The Insider, and Czech media outlets subsequently repeated and disseminated them across the media spectrum without any verification or prior contact with the company’s management. No editorial office, except Blesk, reached out to Vanad 2000 a.s. beforehand for a statement. Vanad 2000 a.s. considers this approach to be extremely unprofessional, unethical, and severely damaging.

Vanad 2000 a.s. has always strictly complied with all applicable international and national legal regulations, including rules governing the export of goods and technologies. Since 2022, in compliance with the European Union sanctions against the Russian Federation, Vanad 2000 a.s. has implemented internal control mechanisms, as the company condemns Russian aggression and propaganda and would never support an aggressive war by engaging in trade with the Russian Federation. The company’s good name is being seriously damaged by these false accusations, which negatively affect not only its reputation but also its business relations both domestically and abroad.

Vanad 2000 a.s. calls on Czech media to act responsibly, to verify information, and to respect journalistic ethics, which have been violated in this case. The company is prepared to defend its good name and reputation by all available legal means against all parties involved in spreading this disinformation.
